Out of the ahadith which Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported to us from Messenger of Allah ﷺ one is this that Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: If one among you buys a she-camel having its udder tied up he has the two options for him after milking it either (to retain it) or return it with a sa' of dates. (Using translation from Muslim 1524f)

البيهقي:١٠٧١٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ أنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْقَطَّانُ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ السُّلَمِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ قَالَ هَذَا مَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا مَا أَحَدُكُمُ اشْتَرَى لِقْحَةً مُصَرَّاةً أَوْ شَاةً مُصَرَّاةً فَهُوَ بِخَيْرِ النَّظَرَيْنِ بَعْدَ أَنْ يَحْلُبَهَا إِمَّا هِيَ وَإِلَّا فَلْيَرُدَّهَا وَصَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ أَحَادِيثَ مِنْهَا وَقَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا مَا أَحَدُكُمُ اشْتَرَى لِقْحَةً مُصَرَّاةً أَوْ شَاةً مُصَرَّاةً فَهُوَ بِخَيْرِ النَّظَرَيْنِ بَعْدَ أَنْ يَحْلُبَهَا إِمَّا هِيَ وَإِلاَّ فَلْيَرُدَّهَا وَصَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ

ahmad:8210 –

[Machine] "And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'When any one of you buys a pregnant she-camel or a pregnant ewe, then he is considered to have made the better choice out of two options, after milking it. If not, then he should return it and take a measure of dates.'"

أحمد:٨٢١٠ –

السيوطي:٢٦٠٨a –

"إذَا ما اشترى أحدُكُمْ لَقِحةً مُصَرَّاةً أوْ شاةً مُصراةً فَهُو بخيرِ النَّظَرينِ بعد أنْ يحلبَها: إمَّا هي، وإلَّا فليرُدَّها وصاعا مِنْ تَمْرٍ".
