I used to get emotional urethral discharges frequently and felt shy to ask Messenger of Allah ﷺ about it. So I requested Al-Miqdad bin Al-Aswad to ask (the Prophet ﷺ ) about it. Al-Miqdad asked him and he replied, "One has to perform ablution (after it)."  

عَلِيٌّ كُنْتُ رَجُلاً مَذَّاءً فَاسْتَحْيَيْتُ أَنْ أَسْأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَأَمَرْتُ الْمِقْدَادَ بْنَ الأَسْوَدِ فَسَأَلَهُ فَقَالَ «فِيهِ الْوُضُوءُ۔»  

"I was a man who emotted a great deal of Madhi. I told a man to ask the Prophet ﷺ (about that) and he said: 'Wudu' (is required) for that."  

كُنْتُ رَجُلاً مَذَّاءً فَأَمَرْتُ رَجُلاً فَسَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «فِيهِ الْوُضُوءُ»  

I heard ‘Ali ؓ say: I was a man who emitted a lot of madhi. I asked the Prophet ﷺ [about that] and he said: ʿWudoo’ should be done for that.”  

سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا يَقُولُ كُنْتُ رَجُلًا مَذَّاءً فَسَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ فِيهِ الْوُضُوءُ
