[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A Muslim who has wealth that can be bequeathed should not spend three nights without having his will written and kept with him." Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Since I heard this, I have not spent a night without keeping my will written with me."  

أحمد:٦١٠٠حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ بُرْقَانَ حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ سَالِمٍعَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا حَقُّ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ لَهُ مَالٌ يُوصَى فِيهِ يَبِيتُ ثَلَاثًا إِلَّا وَوَصِيَّتُهُ عِنْدَهُ مَكْتُوبَةٌ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ فَمَا بِتُّ لَيْلَةً مُنْذُ سَمِعْتُهَا إِلَّا وَوَصِيَّتِي عِنْدِي مَكْتُوبَةٌ

It is not proper for a Muslim who has got something to bequeathe to spend even three nights without having his will written down with him regarding it. 'Abdullah b. 'Umar (Allah be pleased with them) said: Ever since I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ say this I have not spent a night without having my will (written) along with me.  

مسلم:١٦٢٧dحَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو وَهْوَ ابْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ
