ahmad:5960Ḥusayn And Ibn Abū Bukayr al-Maʿná > Shuʿbah > Sulaymān al-Taymī And ʾIbrāhīm b. Maysarah > Ṭāwus Yaqūlujāʾ Wa-al-Lh a man > Ibn ʿUmar

[Machine] Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibit the drinking of wine? He said, "Yes," and Ibrahim ad-Dubba increased them. Ibn Abi Bakir said, Ibrahim ibn Maisarah said in his narration about ad-Dubba.  

أحمد:٥٩٦٠حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ وَابْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ الْمَعْنَى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا طَاوُسًا يَقُولُجَاءَ وَاللهِ رَجُلٌ إِلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ فَقَالَ

أَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ؟ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ وَزَادَهُمْ إِبْرَاهِيمُ الدُّبَّاءَ قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ فِي حَدِيثِهِ وَالدُّبَّاءِ

"We heard Tawus say: 'A man came to Ibn 'Umar and said: Did the Messenger of Allah [SAW] forbid soaking (fruits) in earthenware jars? He said: 'Yes.' Ibrahim added in his Hadith: "And Ad-Dubba' (gourds).'"
