[Machine] He heard something from the Prophet of Allahﷺ or witnessed a scene with him that he did not miss or distort. He said, while he was sitting and Ubayd ibn Umayr was narrating to the people of Makkah, Ubayd ibn Umayr said: "The likeness of a hypocrite is the likeness of a sheep between two flocks. If it moves towards one flock, it is slaughtered, and if it moves towards the other flock, it is also slaughtered." Abdullah ibn Umar said, "Not like this." This angered Ubayd ibn Umayr. Abdullah ibn Safwan was also in the gathering and he said to him, "O Abu Abdullah Rahman, why did you say, 'May Allah have mercy on you?'". He replied, "He said, 'The likeness of a hypocrite is the likeness of a sheep between the two gardens. If it moves towards one garden, it is slaughtered, and if it moves towards the other garden, it is also slaughtered.'" He then said to him, "May Allah have mercy on you, they are the same." He said, "This is what I heard, this is what I heard."
