that once Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by an Ansari (man) who was admonishing his brother regarding Haya'. On that Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Leave him as Haya' is a part of faith." (See Hadith 9)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَرَّ عَلَى رَجُلٍ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ وَهُوَ يَعِظُ أَخَاهُ فِي الْحَيَاءِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «دَعْهُ، فَإِنَّ الْحَيَاءَ مِنَ الإِيمَانِ۔»

Modesty is part of Iman (faith).

سَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ رَجُلاً يَعِظُ أَخَاهُ فِي الْحَيَاءِ فَقَالَ الْحَيَاءُ مِنَ الإِيمَانِ

The Prophet ﷺ passed by a man of the Ansar when he was giving his brother a warning against modesty. The Apostle of Allah ﷺ said : Leave him alone, for modesty is a part of faith.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَرَّ عَلَى رَجُلٍ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ وَهُوَ يَعِظُ أَخَاهُ فِي الْحَيَاءِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ دَعْهُ فَإِنَّ الْحَيَاءَ مِنَ الإِيمَانِ

"Al-Haya is from faith, and faith is in Paradise. Obscenity is from rudeness, and rudeness is in the Fire."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْحَيَاءُ مِنَ الإِيمَانِ وَالإِيمَانُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَالْبَذَاءُ مِنَ الْجَفَاءِ وَالْجَفَاءُ فِي النَّارِ

The Messenger of Allah [SAW] passed by a man who was censuring his brother about modesty. He said: "Let him be, for modesty is part of faith."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَرَّ عَلَى رَجُلٍ يَعِظُ أَخَاهُ فِي الْحَيَاءِ فَقَالَ دَعْهُ فَإِنَّ الْحَيَاءَ مِنْ الْإِيمَانِ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said heard a man urging his brother to be modest. He said: 'Indeed modesty is a branch of faith.'"

سَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ رَجُلاً يَعِظُ أَخَاهُ فِي الْحَيَاءِ فَقَالَ إِنَّ الْحَيَاءَ شُعْبَةٌ مِنَ الإِيمَانِ

“Modesty is part of faith, and faith will be in Paradise. Obscenity in speech is part of harshness and harshness will be in Hell.’”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْحَيَاءُ مِنَ الإِيمَانِ وَالإِيمَانُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَالْبَذَاءُ مِنَ الْجَفَاءِ وَالْجَفَاءُ فِي النَّارِ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Salim ibn Abdullah from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a man who was chiding his brother about modesty. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Leave him. Modesty is part of iman."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَرَّ عَلَى رَجُلٍ وَهُوَ يَعِظُ أَخَاهُ فِي الْحَيَاءِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ دَعْهُ فَإِنَّ الْحَيَاءَ مِنَ الإِيمَانِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Modesty is a part of faith, and faith is in Paradise. Indecency is a part of rudeness, and rudeness is in Hell." "And he has two reliable witnesses on the condition of a Muslim." Adh-Dhahabi remained silent about it in his summary.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْحَيَاءُ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ وَالْإِيمَانُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَالْبَذَاءُ مِنَ الْجَفَاءِ وَالْجَفَاءُ فِي النَّارِ» «وَلَهُ شَاهِدٌثَانٍ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

أَنَّ النَّبِيّ ﷺ سَمِعَ رَجُلا مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ يَعِظُ أَخَاهُ فِي الْحَيَاءِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْحَيَاءُ مِنَ الإِيمان

عَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ قال الحياء من الإيمان والإيمان في الجنة والبذاء من الجفاء والجفاء في النار

«الْبَذَاءُ مِنَ الْجَفَاءِ وَالْجَفَاءُ فِي النَّارِ وَالْحَيَاءُ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ وَالْإِيمَانُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ»

"إِنَّ الحياءَ من الإيمان ، وإِنَّ الإيمانَ فِي الْجنَّة، ولو كان الحياءُ رجُلًا لكانَ رَجُلًا صالحًا".

"البَذَاءُ مِن الْجَفَاءِ وَالجَفَاءُ في النَّار".

"الحياءُ من الإِيمان".

"الحياءُ شُعْبَةٌ من شُعَب الإِيمان ولا إِيمانَ لِمَنْ لا حياءَ له وإنما يُدْركُ الخيرُ كلُّه بالعقْل، ولا دينَ لِمَنْ لا عقلَ له".

"الحياءُ من الإِيمان وأَحْيى أمَّتِي عثمانُ".

"الحياءُ من الإِيمان، والإِيمانُ في الجنَةِ، والبذاءُ مِنَ الجَفَاءِ، والجَفَاءُ في النَّار".

"الْعُلَمَاءُ أُمَنَاءُ أُمَّتِي ".

"دَعْهُ؛ فَإِنَّ الحياءَ من الإِيمان".

"لَوْ كَانَ الحَيَاءُ رَجُلًا، لَكَان رَجُلًا صَالِحًا".
