[Machine] I said to Ibn Umar, "I see you crowding in front of these two pillars." He replied, "If I do so, it is because I have heard the Messenger of Allahﷺ saying that wiping them erases sins." I also heard him saying, "Whoever performs Tawaaf around this House for a week, counting his steps, will have a good deed recorded for every step, a bad deed forgiven, and a rank elevated. It will also count as freeing a slave."  

قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ أَرَاكَ تُزَاحِمُ عَلَى هَذَيْنِ الرُّكْنَيْنِ قَالَ إِنْأَفْعَلْ فَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّ مَسْحَهُمَا يَحُطَّانِ الْخَطَايَا قَالَ وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ مَنْ طَافَ بِهَذَا الْبَيْتِ أُسْبُوعًا يُحْصِيهِ كُتِبَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ حَسَنَةٌ وَكُفِّرَ عَنْهُ سَيِّئَةٌ وَرُفِعَتْ لَهُ دَرَجَةٌ وَكَانَ عَدْلَ عِتْقِ رَقَبَةٍ  

[Machine] He (the narrator) heard his father saying to Ibn 'Umar, "Why do I see you only performing these two pillars (of Hajj) and not others?" He (Ibn 'Umar) said, "If I do that, then I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying, 'Indeed, performing them erases sins.'" He (the narrator) said, "And I heard him saying, 'Whoever performs Tawaf around the Ka'bah seven times and then prays two Rak'ahs, he will have the reward of setting free a slave and will have a good deed written for him, and a sin will be forgiven for him, and his rank will be elevated.' And this indicates that both the father and the son heard it (the saying) from the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ ."  

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ يَقُولُ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ مَا لِي أَرَاكَ لَا تَسْتَلِمُ إِلَّا هَذَيْنِ الرُّكْنَيْنِ وَلَا تَسْتَلِمُ غَيْرَهُمَا؟ قَالَ إِنْ أَفْعَلْ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّ اسْتِلَامَهُمَا يَحُطُّ الْخَطَايَا قَالَ وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ مَنْ طَافَ سُبُوعًا وَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَلَهُ بِعِدْلِ رَقَبَةٍ وَمَنْ رَفَعَ قَدَمًا وَوَضَعَ أُخْرَى كَتَبَ اللهُ لَهُ بِهَا حَسَنَةً وَحَطَّ لَهُ بِهَا عَنْهُ خَطِيئَةً وَرَفَعَ لَهُ بِهَا دَرَجَةً وَهَذَا يَدُلُّ عَلَى أَنَّهُمَا جَمِيعًا سَمِعَاهُ الْأَبُ وَالِابْنُ  

" عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ عبيد بْنِ عُمَير أَنَّ أَبَاهُ سَأَلَ ابنَ عُمَرَ: مَا لي أَرَاكَ لاَ تَسْتِلم إِلَّا هَذَيْن الرُّكْنَيْنِ لاَ تَسْتَلِمُ غَيْرَهُمَا؟ - يَعْنِى الحجَر الأسْوَدَ والرُّكْنَ اليَمَانِى - قَالَ: إِنْ أفْعَل فإِنِّى سَمِعْتُ رسُولَ الله ﷺ يَقُولُ: إِنَّ اسْتِلامَهُمَا يَحُطُّ الخَطَايَا، وَسَمِعْتُه يَقُولُ:

مَنْ طَاف اسْبُوعًا يَحْصِيه، ثُمَّ صَلَّىَ رَكعَتَيْن فَلَهُ بَعَدْلِ رَقَبَةٍ أو نَسَمَةٍ، ومَا رَفَعَ رَجُلٌ قَدَمَهُ وَمَا وَضَعَها إِلَّا كَتَبَ الله لهُ بِهَا حَسَنَةً، وَمَحَى عَنْه بِهَا خطيئةً، وَرَفَعَ لَهُ بِهَا دَرَجَةً ".
