[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed in a cloak that shielded him from the extreme heat and cold of the earth.  

أحمد:٣٣٢٧ – حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى فِي كِسَاءٍ يَتَّقِي بِفُضُولِهِ حَرَّ الْأَرْضِ وَبَرْدَهَا

[Machine] It is narrated that the Prophet ﷺ prayed in one garment, wrapping himself with it, protecting himself from the heat and cold of the earth.  

أحمد:٢٣٢٠ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْهُ عَنْ شَرِيكٍ عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُتَوَشِّحًا بِهِ يَتَّقِي بِفُضُولِهِ حَرَّ الْأَرْضِ وَبَرْدَهَا

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to pray while wearing a shawl, which he would use to protect himself from the heat and cold of the earth.

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray in a single garment to protect himself from the heat and cold of the earth by the favor of Allah.  

الطبراني:١١٥٢١ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ اللَّيْثِ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ عَنْ شَرِيكِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يُصَلِّي فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ يَتَّقِي حَرَّ الْأَرْضِ وَبَرْدَهَا بِفَضْلِهِ»
