[Machine] Saad ibn Ubada asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about a vow that was upon his mother, so he ordered for it to be fulfilled.
سَأَلَ سَعْدُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ نَذْرٍ كَانَ عَلَى أُمِّهِ فَأَمَرَ بِقَضَائِهِ

"From Sufyan, from Az-Zuhri, from 'Ubaidullah bin 'Abdullah, from Ibn 'Abbas, that Sa'd bin 'Ubadah consulted the Prophet about a vow which his mother had to fulfill, but she died before doing so. The Messenger of Allah said: 'Fulfill it on her behalf.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3660)
أَنَّ سَعْدَ بْنَ عُبَادَةَ سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنْ نَذْرٍ كَانَ عَلَى أُمِّهِ تُوُفِّيَتْ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَقْضِيَهُ؟ فَقَالَ اقْضِهِ عَنْهَا
[Machine] Sa'd bin 'Ubada asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about a vow that his mother had made, so the Prophet commanded him to fulfill it.
«أَنَّ سَعْدَ بْنَ عُبَادَةَ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ نَذْرٍ كَانَ عَلَى أُمِّهِ فَأَمَرَهُ بِقَضَائِهِ»
"أَنَّ سَعْدَ بْنَ عُبَادَةَ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ عَنْ نَذْرٍ كَانَ عَلَى أُمِّهِ فَأَمَرَهُ بِقَضَائِهِ".
"عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: سَأَلَ سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبادَةَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ نَذْرٍ كَانَ عَلَى أُمَّهِ مَاتَتْ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَقضِى، فَأَمَرهُ بِقَضَائهِ، وَفِى لَفْظٍ فَقَالَ: اقْض عَنْهَا".
