ahmad:2735 – Rawḥ > Shuʿbah > Sulaymān > Mujāhid

[Machine] "People used to perform the tawaf around the house, and Ibn Abbas was sitting with them, holding a container. He said, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O you who have believed, fear Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims [in submission to Him]." (Quran 3:102) If only a drop of Zaqqum (a tree of Hell) was to fall on the inhabitants of the earth, it would ruin their livelihood. So, how will it be for those who have nothing to eat except Zaqqum?'"  

أحمد:٢٧٣٥ – حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ

أَنَّ النَّاسَ كَانُوا يَطُوفُونَ بِالْبَيْتِ وَابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ جَالِسٌ مَعَهُ مِحْجَنٌ فَقَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ {يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِ وَلا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلا وَأَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ} [آل عمران 102] وَلَوْ أَنَّ قَطْرَةً مِنَ الزَّقُّومِ قُطِرَتْ لَأَمَرَّتْ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ عَيْشَهُمْ فَكَيْفَ مَنْ لَيْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا الزَّقُّومُ

[Machine] It is reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited the following verse: "O you who believe! Fear Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims." [Al Imran 102] He ﷺ then said, "By the One in whose hand is my soul, if a drop of Zamzam water was poured into the oceans of the Earth, it would not be corrupted." And in another narration by Wahb ibn Jarir, he ﷺ said, "I have turned away the luxuries of this world, so how can I be concerned with its sustenance?"  

الحاكم:٣١٥٨ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَوَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ قَالَا ثنا شُعْبَةُ وَأَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي بِهَمْدَانَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ثنا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ تَلَا هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ {يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِ وَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ} [آل عمران 102] قَالَ «وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَوْ أَنَّ قَطْرَةً مِنَ الزَّقُّومِ قُطِرَتْ فِي بِحَارِ الْأَرْضِ لَفَسَدَتْ» وَفِي حَدِيثِ وَهْبِ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ «لَأَمَرَّتْ عَلَى أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا مَعَايِشَهُمْ فَكَيْفَ بِمَنْ تَكُونُ طَعَامَهُ؟»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ على شرط البخاري ومسلم

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَرَأَ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ {اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِ وَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ} [آل عمران 102] وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَوْ أَنَّ قَطْرَةً مِنَ الزَّقُّومِ قُطِرَتْ فِي الْأَرْضِ لَأَفْسَدَتْ عَلَى أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا مَعَائِشَهُمْ فَكَيْفَ بِمَنْ يَكُونُ طَعَامُهُ؟  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ أَخْرَجَهُ الْإِمَامُ أَبُو يَعْقُوبَ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ فِي تَفْسِيرِ قَوْلِهِ {خُذُوهُ فَاعْتِلُوهُ إِلَى سَوَاءِ الْجَحِيمِ ثُمَّ صُبُّوا فَوْقَ رَأْسِهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْحَمِيمِ} [الدخان 48] «وَهُوَ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ»

ذِكْرُ الْإِخْبَارِ عَنْ وَصْفِ الزَّقُّومِ الَّذِي جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ شَرَابَ مَنْ حَادَ عَنْهُ فِي دَارِ هَوَانِهِ
