ahmad:27264 – Rawḥ > Shuʿbah > Yaḥyá b. Ḥuṣayn > Jaddatī > Nabī Allāh ﷺ Biʿarafāt Yakhṭub > Ghafar Allāh Lilmuḥalliqīn Thalāth Mirār > And al-Muqaṣṣirīn

[Machine] I heard the Prophet of Allah ﷺ delivering a sermon in Arafah saying, "Allah has forgiven the pilgrims three times." They asked, "What about those who have shortened their hair?" He responded, "Even those who have shortened their hair." Then he said, "I have heard him (the Prophet) saying, 'If a slave is appointed as a leader over you, leading you with the Book of Allah, then listen to him and obey him.'"  

أحمد:٢٧٢٦٤ – حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَدَّتِي تَقُولُ

سَمِعْتُ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ بِعَرَفَاتٍ يَخْطُبُ يَقُولُ غَفَرَ اللهُ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ ثَلَاثَ مِرَارٍ قَالُوا وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ فَقَالَ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ فِي الرَّابِعَةِقَالَتْ وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ إِنْ اسْتُعْمِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ عَبْدٌ يَقُودُكُمْ بِكِتَابِ اللهِ فَاسْمَعُوا لَهُ وَأَطِيعُوا

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivering a sermon at Arafat, saying: "Even if it were a slave who rules over you and leads you according to the Book of Allah, then listen to him and obey him." Abdullah said: "I also heard my father (the Prophet's companion) saying: "Indeed, I see him (the slave mentioned by the Prophet) having the ability to hear and obey in times of ease and difficulty, in times of prosperity and adversity.  

أحمد:٢٧٢٦٩ – حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ الْحُصَيْنِ أَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَدَّتَهُ قَالَتْ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ بِعَرَفَاتٍ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ وَلَوْ اسْتُعْمِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ عَبْدٌ يَقُودُكُمْ بِكِتَابِ اللهِ فَاسْمَعُوا لَهُ وَأَطِيعُوا قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ وسَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُولُ إِنِّي لَأَرَى لَهُ السَّمْعَ وَالطَّاعَةَ فِي الْعُسْرِ وَالْيُسْرِ وَالْمَنْشَطِ وَالْمَكْرَهِ

[Machine] I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "Listen and obey, even if an Abyssinian slave becomes your leader, who governs you by the Book of Allah." And I heard him saying, "O Allah, forgive those who have shaved their heads" (three times). They said, "And those who have their hair cut short?" He said, "And also those who have their hair cut short."  

الطبراني:٢١٩٤٥ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ قَالَتْ

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ اسْمَعُوا وَأَطِيعُوا وَإِنْ أُمِّرَ عَلَيْكُمْ عَبْدٌ يَقُودُكُمْ بِكِتَابِ اللهِ وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالَهَا ثَلَاثًا قَالُوا وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ بَعْدَ الثَّالِثَةِ وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ
