[Machine] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, by Allah, the poor person stands at my door, making me feel shy. I do not have anything in my house to give him." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Give him even if it is a burnt hoof."  

أحمد:٢٧١٤٨ – حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ بُجَيْدٍ عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ أُمِّ بُجَيْدٍ قَالَتْ

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَاللهِ إِنَّ الْمِسْكِينَ لَيَقِفُ عَلَى بَابِي حَتَّى أَسْتَحْيِيَ فَلَا أَجِدُ فِي بَيْتِي مَا أَدْفَعُ فِي يَدِهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ادْفَعِي في يَدِهِ وَلَوْ ظِلْفًا مُحْرَقًا
