[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “There is no Muslim man on the face of the earth who supplicates to Allah with a supplication except that Allah grants it to him, or averts from him an evil equal to it, so long as he does not supplicate for sin or the severing of kinship ties.”

tirmidhi:3381Qutaybah > Ibn Lahīʿah > Abū al-Zubayr > Jābir

the Messenger of Allah said: “There is none who utters a supplication, except that Allah gives him what he asked, or prevents evil from him that is equal to it – as long as he does not supplicate for something evil, or the cutting of ties of the womb.”

Every dua is answered in one way or another

tirmidhi:3573ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAbd al-Raḥman al-Dārimī > Muḥammad b. Yūsuf > Ibn Thawbān from his father > Makḥūl > Jubayr b. Nufayr > ʿUbādah b. al-Ṣāmit

that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “There is not a Muslim upon the earth who makes a dua to Allah with any supplication, except that Allah either (1) grants it to him, or (2) He turns away from him the like of it in evil; as long as he does not supplicate for something sinful, or the severing of the ties of kinship.”

So a man from the people said: “What if we increase [our duas]?” He ﷺ said: “[With] Allah is more.”

Abu ʿIsa said: This hadith is good, sound, and singular from this perspective, and Ibn Thawban is Abd al-Rahman b. Thabit b. Thawban, the devout Syrian.

ahmad:14879Qutaybah b. Saʿīd > Ibn Lahīʿah > Abū al-Zubayr > Jābir

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "No one invokes a supplication except that Allah gives him what he asked for or protects him from an equivalent evil, as long as he does not invoke for sin or cutting ties of kinship."
