[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ delayed the night prayer one night until the people had slept, then they woke up, then they slept again, and then they woke up. Qais said, "Then Umar ibn Al-Khattab came and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, it's time for prayer.'" He ﷺ went out and prayed with them without mentioning that they had performed ablution.  

أحمد:٢١٩٥ – حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ وَعَفَّانُ قَالا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ قَالَ عَفَّانُ أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ وَقَيْسٌ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَخَّرَ الْعِشَاءَ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ حَتَّى نَامَ الْقَوْمُ ثُمَّ اسْتَيْقَظُوا ثُمَّ نَامُوا ثُمَّ اسْتَيْقَظُوا قَالَ قَيْسٌ فَجَاءَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ فَقَالَ الصَّلاةَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ فَخَرَجَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ أَنَّهُمْ تَوَضَّئُوا
