Ibn ʿAbbas asked me, "Are you married?" I replied, "No." He said, "Marry, for the best person of this (Muslim) nation (i.e., Muhammad) of all other Muslims, had the largest number of wives."

فَتَزَوَّجْ فَإِنَّ خَيْرَ هَذِهِ الأُمَّةِ أَكْثَرُهَا نِسَاءً

[AI] Get married, for the best of this nation is the one who has the most women.

تَزَوَّجْ فَإِنَّ خَيْرَ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ كَانَ أَكْثَرَهَا نِسَاءً

[AI] He said to me, Ibn 'Abbas said, "Get married, for the best among us are those who have the most spouses." (Peace be upon him)

قَالَقَالَ لِي ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ تَزَوَّجْ فَإِنَّ خَيْرَنَا كَانَ أَكْثَرَنَا نِسَاءً ﷺ

[AI] Ibn Abbas said, "O Sa'id, marry, for indeed the best of this nation are the ones with the most women." Sahih.

لِي ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ «يَا سَعِيدُ تَزَوَّجْ فَإِنَّ خَيْرَ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ أَكْثَرُهُمْ نِسَاءً» صحيح

«تَزَوَّجْ فَإِنَّ خَيْرَ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ كَانَ أَكْثَرَهَا نِسَاءً»

«تَزَوَّجْ فَإِنَّ خَيْرَنَا كَانَ أَكْثَرَنَا نِسَاءً»

[AI] Ibn Abbas said, "Get married, for the best among us are those who have the most women."

ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ «تَزَوَّجْ؛ فَإِنَّ خَيْرَنَا كَانَ أَكْثَرَنَا نِسَاءً»

"عَنْ سَعيد بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ لى ابْنُ عَبَّاس: تَزَوَّجْ؛ فَإِنَّ خَيْرَ هَذهِ الأُمَّةِ كَانَ أَكْثَرهَا نِسَاءً".
