I went to ʿUqba bin 'Amir Al-Juhani and said, "Is it not surprising that Abi Tamim offers two rakʿat before the Maghrib prayer?" ʿUqba said, "We used to do so in the lifetime of Messenger of Allah ﷺ." I asked him, "What prevents you from offering it now?" He replied, "Business." (Using translation from Bukhārī 1184)  

أحمد:١٧٤١٦ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْخَيْرِ يَقُولُ رَأَيْتُ أَبَا تَمِيمٍ الْجَيْشَانِيَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَرْكَعُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ حِينَ يَسْمَعُ أَذَانَ الْمَغْرِبِ قَالَ فَأَتَيْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيَّ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ أَلَا أُعَجِّبُكَ مِنْ أَبِي تَمِيمٍ الْجَيْشَانِيِّ؟ يَرْكَعُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الْمَغْرِبِ وَأَنَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَغْمِصَهُ قَالَ

عُقْبَةُ أَمَا إِنَّا كُنَّا نَفْعَلُهُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ مَا يَمْنَعُكَ الْآنَ؟ قَالَ الشُّغْلُ
