[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "When Allah intends good for a servant, He employs him before his death." A man from the people asked him, "What does He employ him for?" He replied, "Allah guides him to perform good deeds before his death, then He takes him in that state."

أحمد:١٧٢١٧ – حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَنِي بَحِيرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ حَدَّثَنَا جُبَيْرُ بْنُ نُفَيْرٍ أَنَّ عُمَرَ الْجُمَعِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَرَادَ اللهُ بِعَبْدٍ خَيْرًا اسْتَعْمَلَهُ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ فَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ مَا اسْتَعْمَلَهُ ؟ قَالَ يَهْدِيهِ اللهُ ﷻ إِلَى الْعَمَلِ الصَّالِحِ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ ثُمَّ يَقْبِضُهُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ

tirmidhi:2142 – ʿAlī b. Ḥujr > Ismāʿīl b. Jaʿfar > Ḥumayd > Anas

"When Allah wants good for a slave, He puts him in action." It was said: "How does he put him in action O Messenger Of Allah?" He said: "By making him meet up with the righteous deeds before death."

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan-Ṣaḥīḥ.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِعَبْدٍ خَيْرًا اسْتَعْمَلَهُ فَقِيلَ كَيْفَ يَسْتَعْمِلُهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ يُوَفِّقُهُ لِعَمَلٍ صَالِحٍ قَبْلَ الْمَوْتِ

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ

Allah gives opportunities to do righteous acts for the ones he wills good

the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If Allah wills goodness for a servant, He sweetens him.” It was said, “What would be his sweetness?” The Prophet said, “Allah opens the door of righteous deeds for him before his death and then receives his soul in that state.”

أحمد:١٧٧٨٤ – حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ الْأَلْهَانِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عِنَبَةَ قَالَ سُرَيْجٌ وَلَهُ صُحْبَةٌ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا أَرَادَ اللهُ بِعَبْدٍ خَيْرًا، عَسَلَهُ۔» قِيلَ: وَمَا عَسَلُهُ؟ قَالَ: «يَفْتَحُ اللهُ لَهُ عَمَلًا صَالِحًا قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ ثُمَّ يَقْبِضُهُ عَلَيْهِ۔»

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِعَبْدٍ خَيْرًا يَسْتَعْمِلُهُ» قِيلَ كَيْفَ يَسْتَعْمِلُهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ «يُوَفِّقُهُ لِعَمَلٍ صَالِحٍ قَبْلَ الْمَوْتِ»

ahmad-zuhd:2353 – ʿAbdullāh from my father > Hāshim / Ibn al-Qāsim > al-Mubārak > al-Ḥasan

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِعَبْدٍ خَيْرًا اسْتَعْمَلَهُ» قَالُوا يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ وَكَيْفَ يَسْتَعْمِلُهُ؟ قَالَ «يُوَفِّقُهُ لِعَمَلٍ صَالِحٍ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ ثُمَّ يَقْبِضُهُ عَلَيْهِ»
