[Machine] His father witnessed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and a man asked him about praying in a single garment, but he did not say anything to him. When the prayer was established, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ spread his cloak between the two garments and prayed in them.  

أحمد:١٦٢٨٧حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ طَلْقٍ

أَنَّ أَبَاهُ شَهِدَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ فَلَمْ يَقُلْ لَهُ شَيْئًا فَلَمَّا أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ طَارَقَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَيْنَ ثَوْبَيْهِ فَصَلَّى فِيهِمَا

[Machine] He asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about praying in a single garment. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ released his izār and covered himself with his robe, then he stood up and prayed. When he finished the prayer, he said, "Does any of you have two garments?"  

أحمد:١٦٢٨٥حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُلَازِمٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ بَدْرٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ طَلْقٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ فَأَطْلَقَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِزَارَهُ فَطَارَقَ بِهِ رِدَاءَهُ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى فَلَمَّا قَضَى الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ كُلُّكُمْ يَجِدُ ثَوْبَيْنِ؟  

عِيسَى بْنُ خَيْثَمٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ طَلْقٍ

[Machine] He (referring to the Prophet Muhammad, ﷺ ) witnessed the Messenger of Allah (saw) and a man asked him about a person who prays in a single garment, but he did not say anything. When it was time for prayer, the Messenger of Allah (saw) placed his two garments together and prayed in them.  

الطبراني:٨٢٥٥حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْقَزَّازُ الْبَصْرِيُّ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ ثنا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ خَيْثَمٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ طَلْقٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُصَلِّي فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ فَلَمْ يَقُلْ شَيْئًا فَلَمَّا أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ «طَابَقَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَيْنَ ثَوْبَيْهِ فَصَلَّى فِيهِمَا»
