"You will fight the Arabian Peninsula and victory will be granted by Allah. Then you will fight the Romans and victory will be granted (by Allah). Then you will fight Dajjal and victory will be granted (by Allah)." Jabir said: "Dajjal will not appear until you have fought the Romans."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ سَتُقَاتِلُونَ جَزِيرَةَ الْعَرَبِ فَيَفْتَحُهَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ تُقَاتِلُونَ الرُّومَ فَيَفْتَحُهَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ تُقَاتِلُونَ الدَّجَّالَ فَيَفْتَحُهَا اللَّهُ قَالَ جَابِرٌ فَمَا يَخْرُجُ الدَّجَّالُ حَتَّى تُفْتَحَ الرُّومُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "You will fight the Arabian Peninsula, and Allah ﷻ will grant it to you. Then you will fight Persia, and Allah ﷻ will grant it to you. Then you will fight Rome, and Allah ﷻ will grant it to you. Then you will fight the Dajjal, and Allah ﷻ will grant victory over him to you." He said, and Jabir said: "The Dajjal will not emerge until Rome is conquered."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: «تُقَاتِلُونَ جَزِيرَةَ الْعَرَبِ، فَيَفْتَحُهَا اللهُ لَكُمْ، ثُمَّ تُقَاتِلُونَ فَارِسَ، فَيَفْتَحُهَا اللهُ لَكُمْ، ثُمَّ تُقَاتِلُونَ الرُّومَ، فَيَفْتَحُهَا اللهُ لَكُمْ، ثُمَّ تُقَاتِلُونَ الدَّجَّالَ، فَيَفْتَحُهُ اللهُ لَكُمْ». قَالَ، فَقَالَ جَابِرٌ: لَا يَخْرُجُ الدَّجَّالُ حَتَّى يُفْتَتَحَ الرُّومُ.

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You will fight the Arabian Peninsula, and Allah will open it for you. Then you will fight Persia, and Allah will open it for you. Then you will fight the Romans, and Allah will open it for you. Then you will fight the Dajjal (false messiah), and Allah will open it for you."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ تُقَاتِلُونَ جَزِيرَةَ الْعَرَبِ فَيَفْتَحُهَا اللهُ وَتُقَاتِلُونَ فَارِسَ فَيَفْتَحُهُمُ اللهُ وَتُقَاتِلُونَ الرُّومَ فَيَفْتَحُهُمُ اللهُ وَتُقَاتِلُونَ الدَّجَّالَ فَيَفْتَحُهُ اللهُ

We were with Messenger of Allah ﷺ in an expedition that there came a people to Allah's Apostle ﷺ from the direction of the west. They were dressed in woollen clothes and they stood near a hillock and they met him as Messenger of Allah ﷺ was sitting. I said to myself: Better go to them and stand between him and them that they may not attack him. Then I thought that perhaps there had been going on secret negotiation amongst them. I however, went to them and stood between them and him and I remember four of the words (on that occasion) which I repeat (on the fingers of my hand) that he (Messenger of Allah) said: You will attack Arabia and Allah will enable you to conquer it, then you would attack Persia and He would make you to conquer it. Then you would attack Rome and Allah will enable you to conquer it, then you would attack the Dajjal and Allah will enable you to conquer him. Nafi' said: Jabir, we thought that the Dajjal would appear after Rome (Syrian territory) would be conquered. (Using translation from Muslim 2900)

كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي غَزَاةٍ فَأَتَاهُ قَوْمٌ مِنْ قِبَلِ الْمَغْرِبِ عَلَيْهِمْ ثِيَابُ الصُّوفِ فَوَافَقُوهُ عِنْدَ أَكَمَةٍ وَهُمْ قِيَامٌ وَهُوَ قَاعِدٌ فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَقُمْتُ بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَيْنَهُ فَحَفِظْتُ مِنْهُ أَرْبَعَ كَلِمَاتٍ أَعُدُّهُنَّ فِي يَدِي قَالَ تَغْزُونَ جَزِيرَةَ الْعَرَبِ فَيَفْتَحُهَا اللهُ ثُمَّ تَغْزُونَ فَارِسَ فَيَفْتَحُهَا اللهُ ثُمَّ تَغْزُونَ الرُّومَ فَيَفْتَحُهَا اللهُ ثُمَّ تَغْزُونَ الدَّجَّالَ فَيَفْتَحُهُ اللهُ قَالَ نَافِعٌ يَا جَابِرُ أَلَا تَرَى أَنَّ الدَّجَّالَ لَا يَخْرُجُ حَتَّى تُفْتَحَ الرُّومُ

[AI] Some people from the Arabs came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to greet him, and they were wearing wool. So I stood up and said, "I will sit between these people and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ." Then I said to myself, "He is the savior of the people." Then my soul refused anything other than going to him. He said, "I heard him saying, 'They will wage war against the Arabian Peninsula and Allah will conquer it. Then they will wage war against Persia and Allah will conquer it. Then they will wage war against the Dajjal (Antichrist) and Allah will conquer him.'"

قَدِمَ نَاسٌ مِنَ الْعَرَبِ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُسَلِّمُونَ عَلَيْهِ عَلَيْهِمُ الصُّوفُ فَقُمْتُ فَقُلْتُ لَأَحُولَنَّ بَيْنَ هَؤُلَاءِ وَبَيْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ ثُمَّ قُلْتُ فِي نَفْسِي هُوَ نَجِيُّ الْقَوْمِ ثُمَّ أَبَتْ نَفْسِي إِلَّا أَنْ أَقُومَ إِلَيْهِ قَالَ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «يَغْزُونَ جَزِيرَةَ الْعَرَبِ فَيَفْتَحُهَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ يَغْزُونَ فَارِسَ فَيَفْتَحُهَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ يَغْزُونَ الدَّجَّالَ فَيَفْتَحُهُ اللَّهُ» موسى بن عبد الملك واه

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "You will fight the people of the Arabian Peninsula and Allah will grant you victory over them. Then, you will fight the Romans and Allah will grant you victory over them. Then, you will fight the Persians and Allah will grant you victory over them. Then, you will fight the Dajjal (the Antichrist) and Allah will grant you victory over him."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «تُقَاتِلُونَ جَزِيرَةَ الْعَرَبِ فَيَفْتَحُهُمُ اللَّهُ ثُمَّ تُقَاتِلُونَ الرُّومَ فَيَفْتَحُهُمُ اللَّهُ ثُمَّ تُقَاتِلُونَ فَارِسَ فَيَفْتَحُهُمُ اللَّهُ ثُمَّ تُقَاتِلُونَ الدَّجَّالَ فَيَفْتَحُهُ اللَّهُ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mention the Dajjal (the Antichrist). I said: "I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and there were people with him from the people of the Maghreb who came to greet him and they were wearing woollen garments. When I drew near to him, I heard him say: 'You will invade the Arabian Peninsula and Allah will open it (for you), then you will invade Persia and Allah will open it (for you), then you will invade Rome and Allah will open it (for you), then you will invade the Dajjal and Allah will open him (for you).' "

سَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَذْكُرُ الدَّجَّالَ؟ قَالَ فَقَالَ أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَعِنْدَهُ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَغْرِبِ أَتَوْهُ لِيُسْلِمُوا عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمُ الصُّوفُ فَلَمَّا دَنَوْتُ مِنْهُ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «تَغْزُونَ جَزِيرَةَ الْعَرَبِ فَيَفْتَحُهَا اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ ثُمَّ تَغْزُونَ فَارِسَ فَيَفْتَحُهَا اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ ثُمَّ تَغْزُونَ الرُّومَ فَيَفْتَحُهَا اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ ثُمَّ تَغْزُونَ الدَّجَّالَ فَيَفْتَحُهُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You will fight the Arabian Peninsula and Allah will grant it to you, then you will fight Persia and Allah will grant it to you, and then you will fight the False Messiah (Dajjal) and Allah will grant him to you."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «تُقَاتِلُونَ جَزِيرَةَ الْعَرَبِ فَيَفْتَحُهُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَتُقَاتِلُونَ فَارِسَ فَيَفْتَحُهُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ ثُمَّ تُقَاتِلُونَ الدَّجَّالَ فَيَفْتَحُهُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ»

"تَغْزُونَ جَزِيرَةَ الْعَرب، فَيَفْتَحُهَا اللَّه ﷻ ثُمَّ فَارسَ فَيَفْتَحُهَا اللَّه، ثُمَّ تَغْزُونَ الرُّوم فَيَفْتَحُهَا اللَّه، ثُمَّ تَغْزُونَ الدَّجَّالَ فَيَفْتَحُهُ اللَّه ﷻ".

"تُقَاتِلُونَ جَزيرة الْعَرَب فَيَفْتَحُهَا اللَّه، ثُمَّ تقاتلون الرومَ فيفتحهم اللَّه، ثمَّ تُقَاتِلُون فارِسَ فيفتحُهم اللَّه، ثمَّ تُقَاتِلُونَ الدجَّالَ فيفتحهم اللَّه".
