[Machine] Jabir ibn Abdullah had some companions of the Prophet ﷺ enter to him, so he brought them bread and vinegar and said, "Eat, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Vinegar is a good condiment.'"  

دَخَلَ إِلَى جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ أُنَاسٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَرَّبَ إِلَيْهِمْ خُبْزًا وَخَلًّا فَقَالَ كُلُوا فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ نِعْمَ الْإِدَامُ الْخَلُّ  

[Machine] A group of the companions of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , entered upon Jabir ibn Abdullah. So he brought them bread and date spread and said, "Eat, for I have heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying, 'The best food is date spread. It is a destruction for a man if his fellow brothers come to his house and he belittles what is in his home by not offering it to them, and it is a destruction for a people if they belittle what is offered to them.'"  

دَخَلَ نَفَرٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ فَقَرَّبَ إِلَيْهِمْ خُبْزًا وَخَلًّا فَقَالَ كُلُوا فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ نِعْمَ الْإِدَامُ الْخَلُّ إِنَّهُ هَلَاكٌ بِالرَّجُلِ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ عَلَيْهِ النَّفَرُ مِنْ إِخْوَانِهِ فَيَحْتَقِرَ مَا فِي بَيْتِهِ أَنْ يُقَدِّمَهُ إِلَيْهِمْ وَهَلَاكٌ بِالْقَوْمِ أَنْ يَحْتَقِرُوا مَا قُدِّمَ إِلَيْهِمْ  

"عَنْ عَبْدِ الرّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَيْمَنَ، عَنْ أَبِيه قَالَ: نَزَلَ بِجابِرٍ ضَيْفٌ فَجَاءَهُم بِخُبْرٍ وَخَلٍّ، فَقَالَ: كُلُوا فَإِنِّى سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ يَقُولُ: نِعْمِ الأُدْمُ الخَلُّ، هَلاَكٌ بِالْقَوْمِ أَنْ يَحْتَقِرُوا مَا قُدِّم إِلَيْهِم، وَهَلاَكٌ بِالرَّجُلِ أَنْ يَحْتَقِرَ ما فِى بَيْتِهِ يُقَدِّمُهُ إِلَى أصْحَابِهِ".
