[Machine] I heard Saad being the first to throw an arrow in the cause of Allah, and Abu Bakr had fortified the fortress of Taif against a group of people. So they came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "We heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, 'Whoever claims to belong to someone other than his father, while knowing that he is not his father, then Paradise is forbidden for him.'"  

أحمد:١٤٩٧ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عُثْمَانَ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ سَعْدًا وَهُوَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ وَأَبَا بَكْرَةَ تَسَوَّرَ حِصْنَ الطَّائِفِ فِي نَاسٍ فَجَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالا سَمِعْنَا النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ مَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى أَبٍ غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ غَيْرُ أَبِيهِ فَالْجَنَّةُ عَلَيْهِ حَرَامٌ

I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "Whoever claims to be the son of a person other than his father, and he knows that person is not his father, then Paradise will be forbidden for him." I mentioned that to Abu Bakra, and he said, "My ears heard that and my heart memorized it from Messenger of Allah ﷺ.  

البخاري:٦٧٦٦ – حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ هُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ سَعْدٍ ؓ قَالَ

My ears heard and my hearing preserved it that Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) observed: He who claimed for another one his fatherhood besides his own father knowingly that he was not his father-to him Paradise is forbidden.  

مسلم:٦٣b – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّاءَ بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ

عَنْ سَعْدٍ وَأَبِي بَكْرَةَ كِلاَهُمَا يَقُولُ سَمِعَتْهُ أُذُنَاىَ وَوَعَاهُ قَلْبِي مُحَمَّدًا ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ غَيْرُ أَبِيهِ فَالْجَنَّةُ عَلَيْهِ حَرَامٌ

“I heard Sa'd and Abu Bakrah both say that they heard directly from Muhammad ﷺ saying it and memorized: 'Whoever claims to belong to someone other than his father knowing the he is not his father, Paradise will be forbidden to him.”  

ابن ماجة:٢٦١٠ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الأَحْوَلِ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ سَعْدًا وَأَبَا بَكْرَةَ وَكُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا يَقُولُ سَمِعَتْ أُذُنَاىَ وَوَعَى قَلْبِي مُحَمَّدًا ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ غَيْرُ أَبِيهِ فَالْجَنَّةُ عَلَيْهِ حَرَامٌ

[Machine] I heard Saad say that he heard it from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ that whoever claims to be someone's father without being their biological father, while knowing that he is not their father, then Paradise is forbidden for him. I met Abu Bakr and spoke to him about it, and he said, "I also heard it with my own ears and it settled in my heart from Muhammad ﷺ ."  

أحمد:١٥٠٤ – حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ قَالَقَالَ سَعْدٌ وَقَالَ مَرَّةً

سَمِعْتُ سَعْدًا يَقُولُ سَمِعَتْهُ أُذُنَايَ وَوَعَاهُ قَلْبِي مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ أَنَّهُ مَنِ ادَّعَى أَبًا غَيْرَ أَبِيهِ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ غَيْرُ أَبِيهِ فَالْجَنَّةُ عَلَيْهِ حَرَامٌ قَالَ فَلَقِيتُ أَبَا بَكْرَةَ فَحَدَّثْتُهُ فَقَالَ وَأَنَا سَمِعَتْهُ أُذُنَايَ وَوَعَاهُ قَلْبِي مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ

[Machine] "This is the branch of the first person who threw an arrow in the way of Allah, and this is the rope of the fortress of Taif to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Indeed, they both mentioned that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Whoever claims to belong to someone other than his father, knowing that he is not his father, Paradise is forbidden for him.'"  

الدارمي:٢٩٠٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ وَعَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ قَالَ

شُعْبَةُ هَذَا أَوَّلُ مَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَهَذَا تَدَلَّى حِصْنِ الطَّائِفِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّهُمَا حَدَّثَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ غَيْرُ أَبِيهِ فَالْجَنَّةُ عَلَيْهِ حَرَامٌ»
