[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned a man from the Ansar and said, "O uncle, say there is no god but Allah." The man replied, "Is it uncle or maternal uncle?" The Prophet replied, "No, it is uncle." The man then asked, "And is it better for me to say it?" The Prophet replied, "Yes."  

أحمد:١٣٨٢٦حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَادَ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقَالَ يَا خَالُ قُلْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ قَالَ خَالٌ أَمْ عَمٌّ؟ قَالَ بَلْ خَالٌ قَالَ وَخَيْرٌ لِي أَنْ أَقُولَهَا؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ entered upon a man from the Banu Najjar who was ill. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "O uncle, say, 'There is no god but Allah.'" He replied, "Do you mean 'uncle' or 'paternal uncle'?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "Rather, 'uncle.'" He then said to him, "Say, 'There is no god but He.'" The man asked, "Is it good for me?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Yes."  

أحمد:١٢٥٤٣حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَى رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي النَّجَّارِ يَعُودُهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَا خَالُ قُلْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ فَقَالَ أَوَ خَالٌ أَنَا أَوْ عَمٌّ؟ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لَا بَلْ خَالٌ فَقَالَ لَهُ قُلْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ قَالَ خَيْرٌ لِي؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ sent a man from the Ansar and said, "O uncle (or cousin), say 'There is no god but Allah.'" The man responded, "O uncle (or cousin)? or mother's brother (or father's brother)?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "No, but uncle." The man then said, "Is it better for me to say 'There is no god but Allah'?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Yes."  

أحمد:١٢٥٦٣حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَادَ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقَالَ يَا خَالُ قُلْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ فَقَالَ أَخَالٌ أَمْ عَمٌّ؟ فَقَالَ لَا بَلْ خَالٌ قَالَ فَخَيْرٌ لِي أَنْ أَقُولَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ؟ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ نَعَمْ
