A man said to the Prophet: “O best of creatures!” So he said: “That is Ibrahim.” (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3352)

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا خَيْرَ الْبَرِيَّةِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ذَاكَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ

abudawud:4672 – Ziyād b. Ayyūb > ʿAbdullāh b. Idrīs > Mukhtār b. Fulful > Anas

A man said to the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him): O best of all creatures! The Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) said : That was Abraham (peace be upon him).

أبو داود:٤٦٧٢ – حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ مُخْتَارِ بْنِ فُلْفُلٍ يَذْكُرُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ

رَجُلٌ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَا خَيْرَ الْبَرِيَّةِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ذَاكَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ

Abraham was the best of all creation

tirmidhi:3352 – Muḥammad b. Bashhār > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Mahdī > Sufyān > al-Mukhtār b. Fulful > Anas b. Mālik

A man said to the Prophet ﷺ: O best of creation! So he said, “˹Not me,˺ that is Ibrāhīm.”

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan-Ṣaḥīḥ.

الترمذي:٣٣٥٢ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْمُخْتَارِ بْنِ فُلْفُلٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ

قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ: يَا خَيْرَ الْبَرِيَّةِ! قَالَ «ذَلِكَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ۔»

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
