Anas was asked, "Did Messenger of Allah ﷺ wear a ring?" He said, "Yes. Once he delayed the ʿIsha' prayer till midnight and after the prayer, he faced us and said, 'The people prayed and have slept and you remained in prayer as long as you waited for it.' " Anas added, "As if I were just now observing the glitter of his ring."  

سُئِلَ أَنَسٌ هَلِ اتَّخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ خَاتَمًا فَقَالَ نَعَمْ أَخَّرَ لَيْلَةً صَلاَةَ الْعِشَاءِ إِلَى شَطْرِ اللَّيْلِ ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَيْنَا بِوَجْهِهِ بَعْدَ مَا صَلَّى فَقَالَ صَلَّى النَّاسُ وَرَقَدُوا وَلَمْ تَزَالُوا فِي صَلاَةٍ مُنْذُ انْتَظَرْتُمُوهَا قَالَ فَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيصِ خَاتَمِهِ  

Anas was asked, "Did the Prophet ﷺ wear a ring?" Anas said, "Once he delayed the: ʿIsha' prayer till midnight. Then he came, facing us ..... as if l am now Looking at the glitter of his ring ..... and said, "The people have offered their prayers and slept but you have been in prayer as you have been waiting for it."  

سُئِلَ أَنَسٌ هَلِ اتَّخَذَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ خَاتَمًا قَالَ أَخَّرَ لَيْلَةً صَلاَةَ الْعِشَاءِ إِلَى شَطْرِ اللَّيْلِ ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَيْنَا بِوَجْهِهِ فَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيصِ خَاتَمِهِ قَالَ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ صَلَّوْا وَنَامُوا وَإِنَّكُمْ لَمْ تَزَالُوا فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا انْتَظَرْتُمُوهَا  

They (the believers) asked Anas about the ring of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he said: One night the Messenger of Allah ﷺ delayed (observing) the 'Isya' prayer up to the midnight or midnight was about to be over. He then came and said: (Other) people have offered prayers and slept, but you are constantly in prayer as long as you wait for prayer. Anas said: I perceive as if I am seeing the lustre of his silver ring, and lifted his, small left finger (in order to show how the Prophet had lifted it).  

عَنْ خَاتَمِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ أَخَّرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْعِشَاءَ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ إِلَى شَطْرِ اللَّيْلِ أَوْ كَادَ يَذْهَبُ شَطْرُ اللَّيْلِ ثُمَّ جَاءَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ صَلَّوْا وَنَامُوا وَإِنَّكُمْ لَمْ تَزَالُوا فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا انْتَظَرْتُمُ الصَّلاَةَ قَالَ أَنَسٌ كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيصِ خَاتَمِهِ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ وَرَفَعَ إِصْبَعَهُ الْيُسْرَى بِالْخِنْصَرِ  

"Anas was asked: 'Did the Prophet ﷺ use a ring?' He said: 'Yes. One night he delayed the later 'Isha' prayer, until almost halfway through the night. When he prayed the Prophet ﷺ turned his face toward us and said: 'You are still in a state of prayer so long as you waiting for it.'" Anas said: 'It is as if I can see the luster of his ring.' According to the narration of 'Ali - that is, Ibn Hujr - "until halfway through the night."

"Anas bin Malik was asked: 'Did the Prophet wear a ring?' He said: 'Yes.' One night he delayed the 'Isha' prayer until almost the middle of the night. [Machine] We were informed by Thabit that they asked Anas ibn Malik if the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had a ring. He replied, "Yes." Then he said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delayed the last prayer of the night until almost half of the night had passed. He said, 'The people have already prayed and slept, while you have continued in prayer. What held you back from the prayer?' Anas said, 'It seemed to me as if I could see the seal of his ring shining, and he raised his left hand.'"  

أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ أَنَّهُمْ سَأَلُوا أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ أَكَانَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ خَاتَمٌ؟ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَخَّرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عِشَاءَ الْآخِرَةِ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ حَتَّى كَادَ يَذْهَبُ شَطْرُ اللَّيْلِ فَقَالَ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ صَلُّوا وَنَامُوا وَإِنَّكُمْ لَمْ تَزَالُوا فِي صَلَاةٍ مَا انْتَظَرْتُمُ الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ أَنَسٌ وَكَأَنِّيأَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيصِ خَاتَمِهِ وَرَفَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُسْرَى  

[Machine] He was asked, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wear a ring?" He replied, "Yes, he would delay the Isha prayer until the middle of the night, then he would pray. After he finished praying, he turned his face towards the people and said, 'The people have prayed and gone to sleep, while you all have been in prayer since you waited for the prayer.' He said, 'It is as if I can see the white glow of his ring.'"  

سُئِلَ هَلِ اصْطَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَاتَمًا؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ أَخَّرَ لَيْلَةً صَلَاةَ الْعِشَاءِ إِلَى شَطْرِ اللَّيْلِ ثُمَّ صَلَّى فَلَمَّا صَلَّى أَقْبَلَ بِوَجْهِهِ فَقَالَ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ صَلَّوْا وَنَامُوا وَإِنَّكُمْ لَمْ تَزَالُوا فِي صَلَاةٍ مُنْذُ انْتَظَرْتُمُ الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ فَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيصِ خَاتَمِهِ  

[Machine] Anas narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ delayed the `Isha' prayer until half of the night had passed. Then he came and said, "The people have already prayed and slept, but you will continue to be in prayer as long as you wait." Anas said, "It was as if I could see the glitter of his ring."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَخَّرَ صَلَاةَ الْعِشَاءِ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ شَطْرُ اللَّيْلِ ثُمَّ جَاءَ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ صَلَّوْا وَنَامُوا وَإِنَّكُمْ لَنْ تَزَالُوا فِي صَلَاةٍ مُذِ انْتَظَرْتُمْ» قَالَ أَنَسٌ «فَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيصِ خَاتَمِهِ»

[Machine] He was asked whether the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to wear a ring, and he said, "Yes, he would delay the prayer of Isha (Night Prayer) until the middle of the night. When he finished praying, he would face us and say, 'People have already prayed and gone to sleep, while you have been in prayer since you awaited the prayer.' It was as if I could see the brilliance of his ring."  

أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ هَلِ اصْطَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَاتَمًا؟ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ أَخَّرَ الصَّلَاةَ صَلَاةَ الْعِشَاءِ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ إِلَى شَطْرِ اللَّيْلِ فَلَمَّا صَلَّى أَقْبَلَ عَلَيْنَا بِوَجْهِهِ فَقَالَ النَّاسُ قَدْ صَلُّوا وَرَقَدُوا وَإِنَّكُمْ لَنْ تَزَالُوا فِي الصَّلَاةِ مُنْذُ انْتَظَرْتُمُ الصَّلَاةَ فَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيضِ خَاتَمِهِ
