Anas ibn Malik reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Calm people and do not arouse their aversion."

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَسِّرُوا وَلاَ تُعَسِّرُوا وَسَكِّنُوا ولا تُنَفِّرُوا

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Facilitate things to people (concerning religious matters), and do not make it hard for them and give them good tidings and do not make them run away (from Islam).

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ يَسِّرُوا وَلاَ تُعَسِّرُوا وَبَشِّرُوا وَلاَ تُنَفِّرُوا

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Make things easy for the people, and do not make it difficult for them, and make them calm (with glad tidings) and do not repulse (them ).

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَسِّرُوا وَلاَ تُعَسِّرُوا وَسَكِّنُوا وَلاَ تُنَفِّرُوا

Show leniency; do not be hard; give solace and do not create aversion.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَسِّرُوا وَلاَ تُعَسِّرُوا وَسَكِّنُوا وَلاَ تُنَفِّرُوا

[AI] I heard Anas saying, "I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) turning away from his right side."

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا يَقُولُ «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not have twenty white hairs in his head and beard. Abu Bakr used to dye his hair and beard with henna and katam, and Umar used to dye his hair with henna.

لَمْ يَكُنْ فِي رَأْسِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَلِحْيَتِهِ عِشْرُونَ شَعَرَةً بَيْضَاءَ وَخَضَبَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ بِالْحِنَّاءِ وَالْكَتَمِ وَخَضَبَ عُمَرُ بِالْحِنَّاءِ

The Prophet ﷺ used to pray a short prayer (in congregation) but used to offer it in a perfect manner. (Using translation from Bukhārī 706)

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُوجِزُ الصَّلَاةَ وَيُكْمِلُهَا

[AI] He heard Anas ibn Malik say that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed away when he was sixty years old, and he had only twenty white hairs on his head and beard.

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ ابْنُ سِتِّينَ سَنَةً لَيْسَ فِي رَأْسِهِ وَلِحْيَتِهِ عِشْرُونَ شَعْرَةً بَيْضَاءَ

[AI] I heard Anas ibn Malik saying that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ turned away from the prayer to his right.

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ انْصَرَفَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed away, and he had twenty white hairs on his head and beard.

تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَمَا فِي رَأْسِهِ وَلِحْيَتِهِ عِشْرُونَ شَعَرَةً بَيْضَاءَ

[AI] I have counted in the head of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his beard, except fourteen white hairs.

مَا عَدَدْتُ فِي رَأْسِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَلِحْيَتِهِ إِلَّا أَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ شَعَرَةً بَيْضَاءَ

[AI] I heard Anas ibn Malik say: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a sermon from the pulpit."

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ خَطَبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ

[AI] I heard Anas ibn Malik saying, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ , Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman never missed saying the takbir."

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ لَا يَنْقُصُونَ التَّكْبِيرَ

[AI] I heard Anas ibn Malik saying that there were twenty white hairs in the head and beard of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ مَا كَانَ فِي رَأْسِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَلِحْيَتِهِ عِشْرُونَ شَعَرَةً بَيْضَاءَ

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "Make things easy and do not make them difficult, and calm (others) down and do not make them run away."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَسِّرُوا وَلَا تُعَسِّرُوا وَسَكِّنُوا وَلَا تُنَفِّرُوا

Anas b. Malik reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ got himself cupped and never withheld the wages of anyone. (Using translation from Muslim 1577d)

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَحْتَجِمُ وَلَا يَظْلِمُ أَحَدًا أَجْرَهُ

[AI] I heard Anas ibn Malik say that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to allow it and complete it, meaning he would shorten the prayer.

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُجَوِّزُهَا وَيُكْمِلُهَا يَعْنِي يُخَفِّفُ الصَّلَاةَ

[AI] I heard Anas ibn Malik saying, "I never performed the prayer (meaning, following the prayer of) a man or anyone from the people with more focus than the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in its entirety."

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ مَا صَلَّيْتُ يَعْنِي وَرَاءَ رَجُلٍ أَوْأَحَدٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ أَخَفَّ صَلَاةً مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي تَمَامٍ

[AI] I heard Anas bin Malik saying, "Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ used to prefer or turn away from his right side."

سَمِعْتَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ»

[AI] "I counted nothing on the head and beard of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ except fourteen white hairs."

«مَا عَدَدْتُ فِي رَأْسِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَلِحْيَتِهِ إِلَّا أَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ شَعْرَةً بَيْضَاءَ»

قَالَ لَمْ يَكُنْ فِي رَأْسِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَلِحْيَتِهِ عِشْرُونَ شَعْرَةً بَيْضَاءَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَسِّرُوا وَلا تُعَسِّرُوا وَسَكِّنُوا وَلا تُنَفِّرُوا

[AI] I heard Anas ibn Malik saying, "This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ doing."

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ «هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَصْنَعُ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Make things easy and do not make them difficult, give glad tidings and do not create aversion, and when you are angry, remain silent."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَسِّرُوا وَلَا تُعَسِّرُوا وَبَشِّرُوا وَلَا تُنَفِّرُوا وَإِذَا غَضِبْتَ فَاسْكُتْ»

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Facilitate things to people (concerning religious matters), and do not make it hard for them and give them good tidings and do not make them run away (from Islam). (Using translation from Bukhārī 69)

وَقَالَ يَعْنِي رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «يَسِّرُوا وَلَا تُعَسِّرُوا وَبَشِّرُوا وَلَا تُنَفِّرُوا»

"تَكَانَفَا وَلَا تَعَاصَيَا، وَيَسِّرا وَلا تُعَسِّرَا".

"يَسِّروا ولَا تُعَسِّروا وَسَكِّنُوا وَلَا تُنَفِّرُوا".
