You dua will be accepted if you glorify Allah before making a dua

ahmad:12207 – Wakīʿ > ʿIkrimah b. ʿAmmār > Isḥāq b. ʿAbdullāh b. Abū Ṭalḥah > Anas b. Mālik

Umm Sulaym came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, teach me some words that I can use in my dua." He said, "˹Say˺ subḥān Allāh (Exultation be to Allah) ten times, and ˹say˺ al-ḥamdu lillāh (Praise be to Allah) ten times, and ˹say˺ Allāhu Akbar (Allah is Greater) ten times, then ask for your need. For indeed ˹Allah˺ says, 'I have done it, I have done it.'"

أحمد:١٢٢٠٧ – حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنِي عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

جَاءَتْ أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ عَلِّمْنِي كَلِمَاتٍ أَدْعُو بِهِنَّ قَالَ تُسَبِّحِينَ اللهَ عَشْرًا وَتَحْمَدِينَهُ عَشْرًا وَتُكَبِّرِينَهُ عَشْرًا ثُمَّ سَلِي حَاجَتَكِ فَإِنَّهُ يَقُولُ قَدْ فَعَلْتُ قَدْ فَعَلْتُ
