The Prophet ﷺ did not offer any (obligatory) prayer but he prayed two rakʿahs after it.

أحمد:١٢١٧ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لَا يُصَلِّي صَلاةً إِلا صَلَّى بَعْدَهَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not offer any prayer after which (nafl) prayer may be offered, but he prayed two rakʿahs after it.

أحمد:١٢٢٧ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلِ بْنِ غَزْوَانَ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يُصَلِّي صَلاةً يُصَلَّى بَعْدَهَا إِلا صَلَّى بَعْدَهَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ
