The Prophet ﷺ said: If any one of you greets me, Allah returns my soul to me and I respond to the greeting. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2041)  

أحمد:١٠٨١٥ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو صَخْرٍ أَنَّ يَزِيدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ قُسَيْطٍ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيَّ إِلَّا رَدَّ اللهُ ﷻ إِلَيَّ رُوحِي حَتَّى أَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامَ
