ahmad-zuhd:2220ʿAbdullāh from my father > Surayj > Mahdī / Ibn Maymūn > Yūnus b. Khabbāb

[Machine] Mujahid said to me, and I had a brother, "Shall I not inform you about the trusted respondant?" I said, "Yes." He said, "He is the man who remembers his sins when he is alone and seeks forgiveness for his sins."  

الزهد لأحمد:٢٢٢٠حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيٌّ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ خَبَّابٍ قَالَ

قَالَ لِي مُجَاهِدٌ وَكَانَ لِي أَخًا أَلَا أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِالْأَوَّابِ الْحَفِيظِ؟ قُلْتُ بَلَى قَالَ هُوَ الرَّجُلُ يَذْكُرُ ذَنْبَهُ إِذَا خَلَا يَسْتَغْفِرُ لِذَنْبِهِ
