ahmad-zuhd:2202 – ʿAbdullāh from my father > Wakīʿ > Sufyān > a man > Ṭāwus

[Machine] He used to say in his prayers, "O Allah, bless me with faith and righteous deeds, and protect me from wealth and offspring."  

الزهد لأحمد:٢٢٠٢ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ

أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي دُعَائِهِ «اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنِي الْإِيمَانَ وَالْعَمَلَ وَامْنَعْنِي الْمَالَ وَالْوَلَدَ»
