الزهد لأحمد:١٧٢٨ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ شُجَاعٍ أَبُو عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبْلَةَ الْعُقَيْلِيُّ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ قَالَ غَضِبَ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ يَوْمًا عَلَى رَجُلٍ غَضَبًا شَدِيدًا فَبَعَثَ إِلَيْهِ فَأَتَى بِهِ فَجَرَّدَهُ وَمَدَّهُ فِي الْحِبَالِ ثُمَّ دَعَا بِالسِّيَاطِ حَتَّى إِذَا قُلْنَا هُوَ ضَارِبُهُ قَالَ خَلُّوا سَبِيلَهُ أَمَا أُتِيَ لَوْلَا أَنِّي غَضْبَانُ لِسَوْءَتِهِ قَالَ وَتَلَا هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ {وَالْكَاظِمِينَ الْغَيْظَ وَالْعَافِينَ
