الزهد لأحمد:١٣٣٣ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا سَيَّارٌ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ وَاسِعٍ يَقُولُ كُنْتُ فِي حَلْقَةٍ فِيهَا مُطَرِّفُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ وَفُلَانٌ وَفُلَانٌ فَقَالَ سَعِيدٌ اللَّهُمَّ ارْضَ عَنَّا قَالَ يَقُولُ

مُطَرِّفٌ «اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ لَمْ تَرْضَ عَنَّا فَاعْفُ عَنَّا»

[Machine] "O Allah, He is the One who has a sense of humor. If You are not pleased with us, then forgive us." He said, and it made them laugh.

مُطَرِّفٌ اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ لَمْ تَرْضَ عَنَّا فَاعْفُ عَنَّا قَالَ فَأَبْكَاهُمْ مُطَرِّفٌ
