ahmad-zuhd:1097 – ʿAbdullāh from my father > Abū ʿĀmir ʿAbd al-Malik b. ʿUmayr And ʾAbū Saʿīd al-Maʿná Wāḥid > ʿAbdullāh b. Jaʿfar > Um Bakr

[Machine] I entered upon Aisha, may Allah have mercy on her, with her share of the ma'sura (meat distributed among family members after slaughtering an animal). She asked, "Who sent you with this?" I said, "Abdul Rahman." She said, "The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, 'After me, only those who are patient will be blessed.' May Allah quench the son of Awf from a sip of the basin of Paradise.'"  

الزهد لأحمد:١٠٩٧ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ وَأَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْمَعْنَى وَاحِدٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أُمِّ بَكْرٍ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ بَاعَ أَرْضًا مِنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ بِأَرْبَعِينَ أَلْفِ دِينَارٍ فَقَسَمَ فِي فُقَرَاءِ بَنِي زُهْرَةَ وَفِي ذِي الْحَاجَةِ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَفِي أُمَّهَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ؓ نَّ قَالَ

الْمِسْوَرُ فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ رَحِمَهَا اللَّهُ بِنَصِيبِهَا مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَتْ مَنْ أَرْسَلَكَ بِهَذَا؟ قُلْتُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ فَقَالَتْ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّهُ لَا يَحْنُو عَلَيْكُنَّ بَعْدِي إِلَّا الصَّابِرُونَ سَقَى اللَّهُ ابْنَ عَوْفٍ مِنْ سَلْسَبِيلِ الْجَنَّةِ»

[Machine] I entered upon Aisha to take my share of that (sacrificial) meat and she said, "Who has sent this meat?" I replied, "Abdur-Rahman bin 'Auf." She said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'None of you will be harmed (or hurt) after me except those who are patient and obedient.' May Allah reward my brother Abdur-Rahman bin 'Auf abundantly. He presented to us what will be enough for quite a few days. May Allah bless him with plenty of consecutive (remaining) nights while offering the prayers and praising Allah."  

أحمد:٢٥٠٣٢ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أُمِّ بَكْرٍ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ بَاعَ أَرْضًا لَهُ مِنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ بِأَرْبَعِينَ أَلْفَ دِينَارٍ فَقَسَمَ فِي فُقَرَاءِ بَنِي زُهْرَةَ وَفِي ذِي الْحَاجَةِ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَفِي أُمَّهَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ قَالَ

[Machine] Who sent this? I said it was Abdur Rahman. She said, "Indeed, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, and Al-Khuzaiyya said, 'Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'None of you will have a special place in my heart after me except the patient ones.' Allah has quenched the thirst of Abdur Rahman ibn Awf from the Salasabil of Paradise."  

أحمد:٢٤٧٢٤ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَالْخُزَاعِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنَا أُمُّ بَكْرٍ بِنْتُ الْمِسْوَرِ قَالَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ عَنْ أُمِّ بَكْرٍ بِنْتِ الْمِسْوَرِ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ بَاعَ أَرْضًا لَهُ مِنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ بِأَرْبَعِينَ أَلْفَ دِينَارٍ فَقَسَمَهُ فِي فُقَرَاءِ بَنِي زُهْرَةَ وَفِي الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَأُمَّهَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ قَالَ الْمِسْوَرُ فَأَتَيْتُ عَائِشَةَ بِنَصِيبِهَا فَقَالَتْ

مَنْ أَرْسَلَ بِهَذَا؟ فَقُلْتُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَتْ أَمَا إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ وَقَالَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَحْنُو عَلَيْكُنَّ بَعْدِي إِلَّا الصَّابِرُونَ سَقَى الله عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ مِنْ سَلْسَبِيلِ الْجَنَّةِ

[Machine] Abdul Rahman ibn Awf sold a piece of land that he owned for forty thousand dinars. He divided the money among the Banu Zuhrah, the poor Muslims, the immigrants, and the wives of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ . He sent some of that money to Aisha, and she asked, "Who sent this money?" I said, "Abdul Rahman ibn Awf." She then quoted the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and said, "Only the patient ones will succeed you after me. May Allah quench the thirst of Abdul Rahman ibn Awf from the Salsabil fountain in Paradise."  

الحاكم:٥٣٥٦ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ مَنْصُورُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْمَخْرَمِيُّ حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمُّ بَكْرٍ بِنْتُ الْمِسْوَرِ

أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ بَاعَ أَرْضًا لَهُ بِأَرْبَعِينَ أَلْفِ دِينَارٍ فَقَسَمَهَا فِي بَنِي زُهْرَةَ وَفُقَرَاءِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَأَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَبَعَثَ إِلَى عَائِشَةَ بِمَالٍ مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَتْ مَنْ بَعَثَ هَذَا الْمَالَ؟ قُلْتُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ قَالَ وَقَصَّ الْقِصَّةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا يَحْنُو عَلَيْكُنَّ مِنْ بَعْدِي إِلَّا الصَّابِرُونَ سَقَى اللَّهُ ابْنَ عَوْفٍ مِنْ سَلْسَبِيلِ الْجَنَّةِ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ ليس بمتصل
