I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raising his thumbs in prayer up to the lobes of his ears.  

أبو داود:٧٣٧ – حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ عَنْ فِطْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَرْفَعُ إِبْهَامَيْهِ فِي الصَّلاَةِ إِلَى شَحْمَةِ أُذُنَيْهِ

[Machine] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raising his hands when he started the prayer, until his thumbs touched the lobes of his ears.  

أحمد:١٨٨٤٩ – حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا فِطْرٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلٍعَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ حِينَ افْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ حَتَّى حَاذَتْ إِبْهَامُهُ شَحْمَةَ أُذُنَيْهِ  

فِطْرُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ

tabarani:18366 – ʿAlī b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz > Abū Nuʿaym > Fiṭr > ʿAbd al-Jabbār b. Wāʾil al-Ḥaḍramī from his father

[Machine] "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he started the prayer, he raised his hands until the sides of his thumbs aligned with the lobes of his ears."  

الطبراني:١٨٣٦٦ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا فِطْرٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى يُحَاذِيَ طَرَفُ إِبْهَامَيْهِ شَحْمَةَ أُذُنَيْهِ»
