Wa’il b.Hujr said that he saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raise his hands when he uttered the takbir (Allah is most great).
أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ مَعَ التَّكْبِيرَةِ
