A prostration when reciting Sad is not one of those which are divinely commanded, but I have seen Messenger of Allah ﷺ prostrate himself.
لَيْسَ { ص } مِنْ عَزَائِمِ السُّجُودِ وَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَسْجُدُ فِيهَا

لَيْسَ { ص } مِنْ عَزَائِمِ السُّجُودِ وَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَسْجُدُ فِيهَا
The prostration of Saʿd is not a compulsory one but I saw the Prophet ﷺ prostrating while reciting it.
{ص} لَيْسَ مِنْ عَزَائِمِ السُّجُودِ وَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَسْجُدُ فِيهَا
The prostration in Sura-Saʿd is not amongst the compulsory prostrations, though I saw the Prophet ﷺ prostrating on reciting it.
لَيْسَ {ص} مِنْ عَزَائِمِ السُّجُودِ وَرَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَسْجُدُ فِيهَا
"I saw the Messenger of Allah prostrating for (Surat) Sad." Ibn Abbas said: "It is not one of the resolute prostrations."
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَسْجُدُ فِي ص قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ وَلَيْسَتْ مِنْ عَزَائِمِ السُّجُودِ

[Machine] "It is not among the habits of prostration, and I have seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prostrate in it."
