BAYHAQI 4663:
from ʿAmr b. ʿAbsah —
[Machine] I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was at 'Ukaz. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, is there any supplication closer than others or an hour in which it is more likely to be answered, so that we may observe it?" He replied, "Yes, the closest that a servant can be to his Lord is in the last part of the night, so if you can be among those who remember Allah in that hour, then do so. It has been narrated to us from Abu Salamah, from Abu Umamah, from 'Amr ibn Anbasah, that I said, "O Messenger of Allah, which night should I observe?" He said, "The last part of the night."
