36.31 The Hadith: The Son Of Adam says: 'My Wealth, My Wealth'

٣٦۔٣١ باب مِنْهُ

tirmidhi:2342Maḥmūd b. Ghaylān > Wahbb. Jarīr > Shuʿbah > Qatādah > Muṭarrif from his father

"The mutual increase diverts you". He ﷺ said: "The son of Adam says:'My wealth, my wealth, but is there something for you from your wealth besides what you give in charity that remains, or you eat which perishes, or what you wear that grows worn?"  

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan-Ṣaḥīḥ.
الترمذي:٢٣٤٢حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّهُ انْتَهَى إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ (أَلْهَاكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ ) قَالَ يَقُولُ ابْنُ آدَمَ مَالِي مَالِي وَهَلْ لَكَ مِنْ مَالِكَ إِلاَّ مَا تَصَدَّقْتَ فَأَمْضَيْتَ أَوْ أَكَلْتَ فَأَفْنَيْتَ أَوْ لَبِسْتَ فَأَبْلَيْتَ  

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
