tabarani:965 – Bakr b. Sahl > ʿAbdullāh b. Yūsuf > Ibn Lahīʿah > Bukayr b. ʿAbdullāh b. al-Ashaj > al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī b. Abū Rāfiʿ > Abū Rāfiʿ > Ṣāḥib al-Dhirāʿ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said to me, "Give me your arm." So, I gave it to him. Then he said, "Give me your arm." So, I gave it to him. Then he said, "Give me your arm." So, I said, "O Prophet of Allah, the sheep only has two arms." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If you were to give me however much you have, you would never be deprived of giving to me."  

الطبراني:٩٦٥ – حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا رَافِعٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ صَاحِبُ الذِّرَاعِ قَالَ قَالَ

لِيَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «نَاوِلْنِي الذِّرَاعَ» فَنَاوَلْتُهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ «نَاوِلْنِي الذِّرَاعَ» فَنَاوَلْتُهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ «نَاوِلْنِي الذِّرَاعَ» فَقُلْتُ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ وَلِلشَّاةِ غَيْرُ ذِرَاعَيْنِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَوْ نَاوَلْتَنِي مَا زِلْتَ تُنَاوِلُنِي»

ذِكْرُ خَبَرٍ أَوْهَمَ فِي تَأْوِيلِهِ جَمَاعَةٌ لَمْ يُحْكِمُوا صِنَاعَةَ الْعِلْمِ

[Machine] "I slaughtered a sheep for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he said, 'Give me the foreleg.' So, I gave it to him. Then he said, 'Give me the foreleg.' So, I gave it to him. Then he said, 'Give me the foreleg.' I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, a sheep only has two forelegs.' He said, 'If you had sought it, you would have found it.'"  

ابن حبّان:٦٤٨٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مَوْلَى ثَقِيفٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عِيسَى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

ذَبَحْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «نَاوِلْنِي الذِّرَاعَ» فَنَاوَلْتُهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ «نَاوِلْنِي الذِّرَاعَ» فَنَاوَلْتُهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ «نَاوِلْنِي الذِّرَاعَ» قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّمَا لِلشَّاةِ ذِرَاعَانِ قَالَ «أَمَا إِنَّكَ لَوِ ابْتَغَيْتَهُ لَوَجَدْتَهُ»

[Machine] He informed him, he said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Give me the arm." So I gave it to him, then he said, "Give me the arm." So I gave it to him, then he said, "Give me the arm." So I said, "O Prophet of Allah, what about the udder of the sheep?" So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If you gave it to me, you would keep giving it to me."  

الطبراني:٩٦٤ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ بُكَيْرًا حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا رَافِعٍ

أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «نَاوِلْنِي الذِّرَاعَ» فَنَاوَلْتُهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ «نَاوِلْنِي الذِّرَاعَ» فَنَاوَلْتُهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ «نَاوِلْنِي الذِّرَاعَ» فَقُلْتُ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ وَلِلشَّاةِ غَيْرُ ذِرَاعَيْنِ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَوْ نَاوَلْتَنِي مَا زِلْتَ تُنَاوِلُنِي»

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ instructed me to pray for him a sheep, so I prayed it for him. Then he said, "Pass me the shoulder." So, I passed him the shoulder. Then he said, "Pass me the shoulder." So, I passed him the shoulder. Then he said, "Pass me the shoulder." So, I said, "O Messenger of Allah, how many shoulders does it have?" He said, "If you had remained silent, you would have found it had more than you can count."  

الطبراني:٩٦٩ – حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ فَائِدٍ مَوْلَى عَبَادِلَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ قَالَ

أَمَرَنِي النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنْ أُصْلِيَ لَهُ شَاةً فَصَلَيْتُهَا لَهُ فَقَالَ «نَاوِلْنِي الذِّرَاعَ» فَنَاوَلْتُهُ الذِّرَاعَ ثُمَّ قَالَ «نَاوِلْنِي الذِّرَاعَ» فَنَاوَلْتُهُ الذِّرَاعَ ثُمَّ قَالَ «نَاوِلْنِي الذِّرَاعَ» فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ كَمْ لَهَا مِنْ ذِرَاعٍ؟ فَقَالَ «أَمَا لَوْ سَكَتَّ لَوَجَدْتَهَا مَا دَعَوْتُكَ»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon us and we had cooked mutton with us. He said, "O Abu Rafi', give me the forearm." So I handed it to him and he ate it. Then he said, "Give me the forearm." So I handed it to him and he ate it. Then he said, "Give me the forearm." So I said, "O Messenger of Allah, does the mutton have anything other than two forearms?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If you had remained silent, I would have continued to eat forearms as long as I wished."  

الطبراني:٩٧٠ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا عَارِمٌ أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ عَنْ عَمَّتِهِ سَلْمَى عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ قَالَ

دَخَلَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَعِنْدَنَا شَاةٌ مَطْبُوخَةٌ فَقَالَ «يَا أَبَا رَافِعٍ نَاوِلْنِي الذِّرَاعَ» فَنَاوَلْتُهُ فَأَكَلَهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ «نَاوِلْنِي الذِّرَاعَ» فَنَاوَلْتُهُ فَأَكَلَهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ «نَاوِلْنِي الذِّرَاعَ» فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَهَلْ لِلشَّاةِ إِلَّا ذِرَاعَانِ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَوْ سَكَتَّ لَأَعْطَيْتَنِي أَذْرُعًا مَا دَعَوْتُهَا»
