الطبراني:٩٤٢٠ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا زَائِدَةُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

«الْوِتْرُ ثَلَاثٌ كَوِتْرِ النَّهَارِ صَلَاةِ الْمَغْرِبِ»

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ that he said: "The Maghrib prayer is the Witr (odd numbered) prayer of the daytime, so perform the prayer of the night."

أحمد:٤٩٩٢ – حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ صَلَاةُ الْمَغْرِبِ وِتْرُ النَّهَارِ فَأَوْتِرُوا صَلَاةَ اللَّيْلِ

ahmad:4847 – Yazīd > Hishām > Muḥammad b. Sīrīn > Ibn ʿUmar

[Machine] "Regarding the Prophet ﷺ, he said, the Maghrib prayer is the "Witr" prayer for the day, so perform the night prayer."

«الْوِتْرُ ثَلَاثُ رَكَعَاتٍ كَصَلَاةِ الْمَغْرِبِ»

tabarani:9419 – Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm > ʿAbd al-Razzāq > al-Thawrī > al-Aʿmash > Mālik b. al-Ḥārith > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Yazīd

[Machine] Ibn Mas'ud said: "The night prayer is like the day prayer, (meaning they both hold equal importance and reward) and the Maghrib prayer should be performed three times (meaning one should perform three units of prayer for Maghrib)."
