tabarani:8875 – Abū Khalīfah > Abū al-Walīd And Ibn Kathīr > Shuʿbah > Abū Isḥāq > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Yazīd > ʿAbdullāh

that he was almost unable to fast and said: When I have fasted, I become weak in Ṣalāh, and Ṣalāh is more beloved to me than fasting. So when he fasted he fasted three ˹days˺ of the month. (Using translation from Ṭabarānī 8869)   

الطبراني:٨٨٧٥ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ وَابْنُ كَثِيرٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ لَا يَكَادُ أَنْ يَصُومَ قَالَ «§إِنِّي إِذَا صُمْتُ ضَعُفْتُ

ʿAbdullāh used to fast very little. We said to him that you do not fast much. He said: When I have fasted, I become weak in Ṣalāh, and Ṣalāh is more beloved to me than fasting.
