مَا أَسْنَدَ سَالِمٌ مَوْلَى أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ

tabarani:6378ʿUthmān b. ʿUmar al-Ḍabbī > ʿAbdullāh b. Rajāʾ > Isrāʾīl > Abū Isḥāq > ʿAbdullāh b. Maʿqil > Sālim a freed slave of Abū Ḥudhayfah > Kān

[Machine] He was with Abu Bakr on a rooftop during Ramadan while he was praying. Abu Bakr came to him and said, "Don't you eat, O Khalifa of the Messenger of Allah?" He gestured with his hand until he did that twice. When it was the third time, he said, "Bring me your food." So he ate, prayed two Rak'ahs, then entered the mosque and the prayer was established.  

الطبراني:٦٣٧٨حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الضَّبِّيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ ثنا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَعْقِلٍ عَنْ سَالِمٍ مَوْلَى أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ

أَنَّهُ كَانَ مَعَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ؓ عَلَى سَطْحٍ فِي رَمَضَانَ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي فَأَتَاهُ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَطْعَمُ يَا خَلِيفَةَ رَسُولِ اللهِ؟ فَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ حَتَّى فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ مَرَّتَيْنِ فَلَمَّا كَانَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ قَالَ «ائْتِنِي بِطَعَامِكَ» فَطَعِمَ وَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ وَأُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ
