[Machine] There was a man among the companions of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ named Aswad, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called him Abu 'Abid.  

الطبراني:٦٠١٦حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ سَوَادَةَ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ

«كَانَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ اسْمُهُ أَسْوَدُ فَسَمَّاهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَبْيَضَ»
