[Machine] "Saad bin Ubada passed away after two and a half years of the caliphate of Umar, in Hawran of the land of Sham, and he is known as Abu Thabit."  

الطبراني:٥٣٥٨حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ قَالَا ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ قَالَ

«تُوُفِّيَ سَعْدُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ لِسَنَتَيْنِ وَنِصْفٍ مِنْ خِلَافَةِ عُمَرَ ؓ بِحَوْرَانَ مِنْ أَرْضِ الشَّامِ وَيُكْنَى أَبَا ثَابِتٍ»
