[Machine] "O Messenger of Allah, do I have any permission?" He said, "No." Ibn Umm Maktum said, "O Allah, I am blind, so give me permission." So Allah revealed the verse {Except those who are disabled}. And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded it to be written."  

الطبراني:٥٠٥٣حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي سِنَانٍ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ قَالَ لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ {§لَا يَسْتَوِي الْقَاعِدُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ} {وَالْمُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ} جَاءَ ابْنُ أُمُّ مَكْتُومٍ فَقَالَ

يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَمَا لِي رُخْصَةٌ؟ قَالَ «لَا» قَالَ ابْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي ضَرِيرٌ فَرَخَّصْ لِي فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ {غَيْرٌ أُولِي الضَّرَرِ} فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِكِتَابَتِهَا
