عَطَاءُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ؓ
[Machine] "He said in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ, 'Authority is a bad thing.' The Prophet ﷺ said 'Authority is a good thing for those who take it rightfully and handle it properly, and it is a bad thing for those who take it unjustly, and they will regret it on the Day of Judgment.'"
أَنَّهُ قَالَ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِئْسَ الشَّيْءُ الْإِمَارَةُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «نِعْمَ الشَّيْءُ الْإِمَارَةُ لِمَنْ أَخَذَهَا بِحَقِّهَا وحَلَّهَا وَبِئْسَ الشَّيْءُ الْإِمَارَةُ لِمَنْ أَخَذَهَا بِغَيْرِ حَقِّهَا فَتَكُونُ عَلَيْهِ حَسْرَةً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»
