[Machine] "What is the name of this land?" It was said, "Karbala." So the Prophet ﷺ said, "Indeed, it is the land of grief and affliction."

الطبراني:٢٨١٢ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الصَّائِغُ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ كَاسِبٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حَنْطَبٍ قَالَ لَمَّا أُحِيطَ بِالْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ

مَا اسْمُ هَذِهِ الْأَرْضِ؟ قِيلَ كَرْبَلَاءُ فَقَالَ صَدَقَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «إِنَّهَا أَرْضُ كَرْبٍ وَبَلَاءٍ»
