[Machine] "Narrated by Umm Kulthum bint 'Uqba bin Abi Mu'ayt, she was the wife of 'Abd al-Rahman bin 'Auf and she used to pray in both directions (Qibla) with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . She said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'One who reconciles between people is not a liar, even if he speaks good or fabricates good.'"  

الطبراني:٢١٧٦٤ – حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الرَّازِيُّ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ ثنا عَمِّي حُمَيْدُ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ

عَنْ أُمِّ كُلْثُومٍ بِنْتِ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ أَبِي مُعَيْطٍ وَكَانَتِ امْرَأَةَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ وَكَانَتْ صَلَّتِ الْقِبْلَتَيْنِ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَيْسَ بِالْكَاذِبِ مَنْ أَصْلَحَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ فَقَالَ خَيْرًا أَوْ نَمَى خَيْرًا»

[Machine] From his mother, Umm Kulthum bint 'Uqba, who was among the early emigrants, she said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "The liar is not the one who reconciles between people by saying good things or spreading goodness." And he said once, "and spreads goodness."

عَنْ أُمِّهِ أُمِّ كُلْثُومٍ بِنْتِ عُقْبَةَ وَكَانَتْ مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرَاتِ الْأُوَلِ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَيْسَ الْكَذَّابُ مَنْ أَصْلَحَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ فَقَالَ خَيْرًا أَوْ نَمَى خَيْرًا وَقَالَ مَرَّةً وَنَمَى خَيْرًا
