[Machine] "From Asma bint Abi Bakr, that they used to give Zakat al-Fitr during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the amount of the sustenance of the household. The people of Madinah used to do the same."

الطبراني:٢٠٦٨٥ – حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي الطَّاهِرِ بْنِ السَّرْحِ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَزِيزٍ الْأَيْلِيُّ ثنا سَلَامَةُ بْنُ رَوْحٍ ثنا عُقَيْلٌ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ «أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يُخْرِجُونَ زَكَاةَ الْفِطْرِ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بِالْمُدِّ الَّذِي يَقْتَاتُ بِهِ أَهْلُ الْبَيْتِ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ كُلُّهُمْ»

[Machine] She informed him that they used to give Zakat al-Fitr during the time of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, in the measure that sustains the household or the measure that sustains them individually. The people of Madinah all used to do that.

أَنَّهَا حَدَّثَتْهُ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا «يُخْرِجُونَ زَكَاةَ الْفِطْرِ فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِالْمُدِّ الَّذِي يَقْتَاتُ بِهِ أَهْلُ الْبَيْتِ أَوِ الصَّاعِ الَّذِي يَقْتَاتُونَ بِهِ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ كُلُّهُمْ»

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ وَهِيَ الْحُجَّةُ لِمُنَاظَرَةِ مَالِكٍ وَأَبِي يُوسُفَ رَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمَا
