عَنْ قَتَادَةَ فِي قَوْلِهِ {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ الْمُحْصَنَاتِ الْغَافِلَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ لُعِنُوا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ} قَالَ أُنْزِلَتْ فِي شَأْنِ عَائِشَةَ ؓ
Those who accuse honourable but unwary believing women are rejected by God, in this life and the next. A painful punishment awaits them
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ ٱلْمُحْصَنَٰتِ ٱلْغَٰفِلَٰتِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ لُعِنُوا۟ فِي ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمࣱ
[AI] "From Ibn Abbas: 'Indeed, those who accuse chaste women, intending the pure women (to be accused), unaware (of what they are saying), believing women, intending the women of faith, they are cursed in this world and the Hereafter, and for them is a great punishment. They (the accused) are to be removed from the faith.'"
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ الْمُحْصَنَاتِ} «يُرِيدُ الْعَفَائِفَ» {الْغَافِلَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ} «يُرِيدُ الْمُصَدِّقَاتِ بِتَوْحِيدِ اللهِ وَبِرُسُلِهِ» {لُعِنُوا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ} «يُرِيدُ أُخْرِجُهُمْ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ»
